We may use the Information collected from the Users from time to time as required, to provide the User with the Services, offers, promotions, and other important Information related to the Services, etc.

In addition to the above-mentioned Information, we may receive and store certain types of information, including but not limited to, IP address, User’s mobile operating system, browser, search terms, cookies, information about the way the User uses the Services, etc. We analyze this information to improve and enhance our Services, by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to our Users’ needs and preferences.

We use an outside payment processing company to bill you for availing our Services. These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

How we use the information collected

Only Skillhooter has the right to the Information given by the Users. We use the information provided by the Users to analyze trends, conduct research, administer our Services, to learn about each User’s learning patterns and movements around the Services. We will use the Information to improve the quality of our Services continuously to make it more useful for the users.

We will never sell or otherwise pass on the User’s private information to any third party without User’s consent, except as outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect our safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, address security or technical issues, or respond to a government request;

How long do we retain data collected from the users

Currently, we plan to retain user data while an account is active and for at least 3 years afterward. We may alter this practice according to legal and business requirements. For example, we may lengthen the retention period for some data if needed to comply with law or voluntary codes of conduct. Unless otherwise prohibited, we may shorten the retention period for some types of data if needed to free up storage space.
